We're interested in hearing from students who have relevant experience in the following areas:

  • finance
  • communications
  • website - content management
  • marketing
  • event planning / fundraising.

If you can commit to a minimum of five hours per week and have relevant training or experience, please drop us an email on careers@savethechildren.org.nz

We are currenly recruiting for several interns for the following roles: 

Each of these roles requires a minimum six month committment and you must have relevant experience to be considered. Please apply by submitting your CV and a covering letter outlining your suitability to careers@savethechildren.org.nz by Friday 8 October 2010.

Throughout New Zealand
You don't need to be in Wellington to get involved, we'd be happy to hear from you in regards to:

  • course based work or research
  • summer experience for senior students working remotely
  • long term projects
  • other, maybe you have your own idea we'd like to consider

Volunteering

We can always do with more hands on deck.  We rely on volunteers to assist in so many ways:

  • helping with a wide variety of fundraising activities
  • advocacy and awareness raising
  • staffing our 33 shops
  • collecting during our fundraising events.

Volunteering for Annual Appeal 2010
Volunteer support is essential for the Appeal success and we need as many current and new volunteers as possible to help us with the street collection during the Appeal week.
