Introducing Child Guardians

Yes! I want to help save children's lives.

As a Child Guardian you'll help Save the Children provide support like:

  • education for a brighter future in Asia, where millions of children have no option but to work to support their families, often in the harshest conditions.
  • life-saving food and water in Africa, where drought in some of the world's poorest countries continues to have a severe impact on millions of children.
  • nutritious meals and early childhood education for young preschoolers in El Salvador where 12 per cent of children drop out of primary school after just one year.

For a regular donation of $35 a month, you can choose to support Save the Children programmes in Asia, Africa or Latin America.

In Asia there are millions of child workers, 14 - 30 million in India alone, many of whom receive no schooling. Save the Children runs special primary schools, allowing children to attend regular lessons in between their work.

In Africa we work in drought-stricken areas, providing thousands of tons of grain and cereal to make up for lost harvests.

In Latin America we work in the poorest areas, areas of conflict and places where children need access to education.

To become a Child Guardian, simply call 0800 167 168 and we’ll send you a short form to authorise your direct monthly donation of $35.

We'll also send you:

  • regular updates from our programmes
  • newsletters on your chosen region
  • our magazine, World's Children
  • your annual tax deductible receipt
  • Save the Children's Annual Report

Thank you for giving so many vulnerable children around the world a brighter future.
