General conditions for successful applicants

Successful applicants sign the funding agreement before payment can be made.

The grant can only be used for the purpose identified in your application. In the event of the project not going ahead, the money will be returned to Save the Children New Zealand.

The applicant should acknowledge Save the Children NZ as a financial contributor on publicity and promotional material associated with the project.

Save the Children NZ will be able to quote the project as an example of work it supports as part of its New Zealand Programme.

The final financial and narrative report for any project funded is due within one month of completion. Projects of 12 or more months in duration are required to supply six monthly detailed financial and narrative reports until project completion.

The applicant is required to complete a certificate of expenditure on completion of the project.

Save the Children NZ reserves the right to independently audit expenditure relating to grant made to any individual or organisation.
